DrawingS by British Artist Chris ThomasChris Thomas is an artist whose illustrations and artwork is principally concerned with drawing in all its forms. Working with the idiom through observation and using it to create works dealing with sequence and narrative.
Chris draws inspiration wherever it presents itself, simply looking at the world around him provides sufficient stimulus to inspire him to draw. For his sequential works he draws inspiration from historical incidents, characters and myths. |

Landscapes
Recently Chris’ interest in landscape painting has been rekindled. For many years he’s been a keen walker and trekker and has made many treks in the Nepal Himalaya and also walks along Britain’s long distance foot paths.
He’s always taken photographs of the views from the trails but recently he’s been using drawing books to record his experiences.
