Chris studied art at Cardiff College of Art and graduated with a degree in painting from Birmingham Polytechnic.
Since leaving art school Chris has exhibited in Britain and abroad both in solo and mixed exhibitions. When living in Birmingham he regularly exhibited his work with financial assistance from West Midlands Arts. His work is held in private collections in Britain and Spain.
Between 1986 and 1995 Chris spent most of his time working and travelling in Asia and Latin America and his travel experiences often filter through into his work as an artist.
Chris is principally concerned with drawing and the materials he uses are simple; charcoal, ink, pencils, etc. anything that can make a mark on paper.
